Why Cadet360
License Prep?
Most license prep programs focus on memorizing questions and answers. Cadet360 takes a different approach.
Our goal is to help you understand the reasoning behind the answers, develop professional judgment, and build the confidence needed to succeed both on your USCG license examinations and in your maritime career.
As the Coast Guard continues to evolve its examinations, understanding concepts and applying knowledge has become more important than memorizing individual questions. Cadet360 was designed to guide you through that process with structured study plans, targeted practice, realistic exam simulations, and progress tracking that helps you focus on what matters most.
We believe the best way to pass the exam is to become a knowledgeable and capable mariner.
A Complete Study Environment
Cadet360 combines study materials, practice tools, scheduling, and progress tracking into a single learning environment designed specifically for USCG license preparation.
Inside the Classroom, you will find guided study sessions, presentations, flashcards, Blitz review activities, customizable practice exams, progress dashboards, and a personalized study scheduler that helps organize your preparation around your exam date and available study time.
Rather than jumping between multiple websites and resources, Cadet360 brings the study process together in one place so you can focus on learning the material, reinforcing key concepts, and tracking your progress toward exam readiness.

Understanding the Question Bank
Where do the questions come from?
Cadet360's question bank includes questions derived from historical public USCG question databases, sample examinations, and original instructional content developed specifically for Cadet360.
For many years, the USCG maintained public question databases that were widely used throughout the maritime industry for exam preparation. While those public resources are no longer maintained in the same way, they remain an important educational resource and continue to form part of the foundation of many license preparation programs.

In addition to historical public questions, Cadet360 includes original questions designed to reinforce concepts, encourage critical thinking, and help students apply their knowledge in new situations.Cadet360 does not claim to possess the current USCG examination database, nor is the platform designed around memorizing specific questions. Our goal is to help students understand the material, develop professional judgment, and build the flexibility needed to succeed when questions are presented in unfamiliar ways.
We believe the best preparation for a license examination is not memorization—it is understanding
More Common Questions about the Database
Do you have the current USCG exam database? No. No commercial license preparation provider has access to the complete current USCG examination database. Did Cadet360 copy questions from another website? No. Many maritime training providers use questions derived from historical public USCG resources. Cadet360 uses historical public materials as educational references and also develops original instructional content. Should I memorize the questions? No. Questions should be used to reinforce concepts, identify weak areas, and practice applying knowledge. Understanding the material is far more valuable than memorizing i
